Omaggio alla Primavera
Luca Caristina, piano
LUCA CARISTINA
My work as a composer is rooted in a rigorous musical education and shaped by a parallel path in scientific research. This dual formation has deeply influenced my approach to sound: composition as an architecture of time, listening as an active and conscious experience. Each piece is conceived as a coherent system, where form, harmony, timbre, and silence are not ornaments, but essential components of meaning.
I compose for piano and for multi-instrumental settings, moving freely across contemporary classical language, cinematic atmospheres, and experimental textures. What guides my work is not genre, but intention: the search for clarity, depth, and resonance. I am interested in music that does not impose itself, but invites presence, music that unfolds gradually, leaving space for interpretation and inner movement.
Alongside composition, I explore the relationship between technology and sound, integrating digital tools as instruments of precision rather than shortcuts. Technology, when used consciously, becomes an extension of musical thought, not its substitute.
This site is a space dedicated to my musical work: compositions, projects, and ongoing research. An invitation to enter a sound world where music is not consumed, but encountered.
